Introduction
We operate two types of souvenir coin machines: the traditional coin press and the vending machine that dispenses ready-made coins/medals. Both support modern payment options, including bank cards.
In the classic coin press, pre-loaded 5-forint coins can be imprinted with one of four available designs, using the same pressing mechanism that has existed for over a century. A pressed coin costs 400–450 HUF, and the chosen design is applied by turning a hand crank.
The other machine dispenses pre-manufactured souvenir coins or medals with detailed, place-specific graphics within seconds after payment. These ready-made coins/medals cost between 1200 and 1270 HUF.
The list of locations reflects the current status and is continuously updated whenever new machines are installed at new sites.
